1930s style village community pub, situated on a country lane at the edge of Sonning Common bordering the countryside. It has been extensively refurbished, but retains the original wood panelling and three real fires. The room to the rear has been converted back into a dining area and the old pub signs adorn the bar walls. The large garden has plenty of seating and a children's play area. A permanent beacon was installed in the car-park for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
